CUSTOMER CHARTER - Our aim is to ensure that all customers are both
satisfied and happy with the results of any work carried out by ourselves
under your instruction. At the same time we will aim to keep our costs
tightly under control to ensure that we offer low and competitive prices
while buying supplies at the best price that we can.
NOT HAPPY? - Due to the nature of work that we
undertake there are bound to be times when the customer is not fully happy
with a completed commission. By this I mean that the finished product may
not match up to the perceived original idea or vision. It shall be the
customers prerogative to have a change of mind. Should this be the case we
give an undertaking to charge cost price only for materials and travel - no labour charge and no profit margin - for
any change required as long as the original agreed price has been paid in
full. In the unlikely case that a fault is found with the finished
product this will be repaired or changed without any additional cost.
GUARANTEE - We aim to delivery a top quality
product to you for the price quoted. As the finished product is completed by
hand, and materials can be natural, there may be minor flaws that do not
detract from the finished product. In the unlikely case of a fault being
found that does detract then it will be repaired free of charge for
materials, labour and travel. All products have an unconditional guarantee
of 12 months so long as the cause is not through handling or impact.
INSURANCE - Please note that I do not carry
insurance for expensive items. Should you have an item to be framed that is
expensive and has a high insurance value then you need to take out your own
insurance to cover damage or loss. Please let me know if you believe the
item to be of high value prior to having it picked up, or dropped off at our
workshop.
PAYMENTS and DEPOSITS - As a rule we do not
require deposits if the item or items to be framed are in our possession. If
they are not in our possession then a deposit of 25% of the quoted price is
required to secure materials.
Payment for the finished product is required prior
to you taking ownership. Payment is usually made at the time of handover.
Unless an account has been set up for payment it must be stressed that
ownership of the product will not be transferred to you until payment has
been made in full.
If payment is made on account then terms are
strictly 30 days. Additional charges may be incurred if payment is delayed,
or longer than 30 days, to cover costs.
POST and PACKAGING -
Posting of glass product
